Well, I’m always going to follow the advice and research findings of suicide prevention advocates and offer the option anyway. From personal experience, I am only too aware of how problematic it can be to be told to reach out for help. I’m also aware that a person’s reaction can vary depending on who is telling them to reach out, and how. If posting a simple call to action helps just one person or their family/loved ones get help, then amazing, and I fail to see why it obviously concerns you quite so much. Especially seeing as it’s not going to have any negative impact on anybody. If you just want to argue semantics and bleat on about irony, go ahead, it’s a free country— but this is a subject I care very deeply about, and I don’t intend to engage any further.
